About the Author
Janet Johnson lives in a small town on the south shore of Lake Superior
in Wisconsin. The town once had a booming port for lumber and fishing,
but now is mainly used for commercial and recreational boats. Her
husband and sons are commercial fi fishermen on Lake Superior. Janet has
been a teacher for 37 years in the middle elementary grades.
